DECKING INSTALLATION : in order to get a positive result, please find following suggestions for a good installation. Anyway please do not hesitate to contact us for any further informations. First step is the choice of right sleepers to be used under the plan. We suggest to use same wood used on top or a wood specie that can guarantee same durability and same mechanical properties. When using screws through decking, we suggest to make an hole with diameter that should be slightly wider than screw and make a small incision on sleepers just to have a better join between all the components. When using stainless steel clips, please pay attention to put sleepers not more than 30-35 cm far one by each other, in order to get a good fixing action. Please also remember to keep a small space going from 3 to 7 mm between each piece on flooring in order to allow typical wood movements.
